For this assignment we were required to design a used car advertising feature for a newspaper. We were to use car images with clipping paths, which is basically a way of removing background imagery so that it is just the car itself against a neutral background. there are a number of ways of doing this. I took the lazy route by blocking out the background using white paint. It is clear from the less than perfect edges that this is the way I did it, and would not be sufficient for a professional job.

For this assignment we were required to make a poster in Photoshop that was meant to look like a Western style Wanted poster, but was in fact an advertisement for Kmart Autos. I used such tools as sepia via duotone and loaded new brushes with scratch effects. Here is the result:

In the following assignment we were required to demonstrate our knowledge of imposition by designing an eight page article on typography dos and donts. Once the articles was designed and written, I then cropped and reduced the individual pages to A6 size, so that four could each fit on an A4 sheet of paper. They needed to then be placed in the right order of imposition so that when the pages are printed, folded and cut they would be in the correct order.
